MTS 0065 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ Plastic Fuel Tank, 20 Gal
1987-1990 Jeep Wrangler YJ 20-Gal. fuel tank and 1991-1995** Jeep Wrangler YJ 15-Gal. fuel tank with a rectangle sending unit hole and built-in fuel bowl. This tank will only replace the OEM plastic style tank with or without fuel injection.
Includes a new rectangle sending unit gasket, (8)bolts and (2) upper straps with bolts, nuts and split washers.
Approx. dimensions: 32" x 17 1/2" x 11 1/4".

*This tank will not replace the 15-Gal. OEM metal style tank. To the best of our knowledge, this tank will directly replace domestic model tank #'s 52002633 & 52018287.
This tank will NOT directly replace export model #'s 52018779, 52019226, 52007258, 52002622 or 52020522(Egypt). If the YJ has an export model tank, a new skid plate and sending unit are required and we recommend replacing the fuel filler and vent hoses. The hoses may need to be spliced and elongated as well.
**The 1991-1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ's used the same 20-Gal. fuel tank used from 1987-1990 but Jeep inserted a pipe into the vent neck to reduce the fuel tank capacity to 15-Gal. Please call with any questions.
***Some early 1987-1990 Jeep Wrangler YJ 20-Gal. plastic fuel tanks had an open ended skid plate without the rolled heat shield over the exhaust pipe, we recommend replacing the skid plate as an exhaust/heat shield safety precaution. We also recommend replacing the fill and vent hoses to prevent possible fitment issues with the new skid plate.
